Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, a central public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Power, has opened a fresh window for young job-seekers to gain hands-on work experience. The company’s Eastern Region Transmission System-2 division has released a notification for a one-year apprenticeship programme. Of the 270 vacancies announced nationwide, 19 seats have been earmarked for the training centre in West Bengal, with 2 additional seats reserved for Sikkim.
