04How to Register
- Register at the purchase centre or on the e-paddy portal. Registration is mandatory, and the farmer then receives a sale schedule.
- Krishak Bandhu farmers are verified from the existing list and are given preference.
- Other farmers use the land verification option for non-Krishak Bandhu farmers on the portal. They search with the registration, Aadhaar or voter ID number, confirm or change land details, upload a declaration and submit.
- Take the paddy to the allotted centre on the scheduled slot.
05Documents
- Voter ID card and Aadhaar
- Bank passbook with IFSC code
- Land documents or a self-declaration
- Two photographs (as listed in the department’s earlier FAQ)
06Bargadars
Recorded bargadars are covered through the Krishak Bandhu list. The 2025-26 calendar also lists registration of unrecorded bargadars as an ongoing activity. The rules for 2026-27 were not found.
07Payment
Payment goes directly to the bank account, within about three working days according to 2025 reports. Payment can fail when the account is dormant, lacks KYC or is a basic account above its balance limit, so the account details should be checked before the sale.
